An amazing desert journey - starting at Yuendemu up north of Alice on the Tanami Track - volunteer work at Warlukurlangu Art Centre mixing paints, priming canvasses - a strong art community run by a dedicated and passionate group of women - other community features being packs of dogs roaming the streets, and desert dingoes howling...... the bush bus was an experience in itself...
Then travelled with Jane Canfield, Margot Turner and Karen Swaffer and Indigneous guide and artist Vincent Forrester, from Alice through Kings Canyon, Angus Downs to Uluru.......
What an amazing spiritual and physical journey as Vincent gave us an incredible insight into his rich culture - from fauna, flora, bush medicine, politics, art - to Native Title lands where we felt most privileged to have an insight into this land...
